With the release of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes in theaters, we are all back in our Hunger Games phase of the early 2010s. Scholastic is keeping the party going with an illustrated edition of The Hunger Games.

This version of the book is the perfect edition for folks who have trouble visualizing what they read or just enjoy looking at pictures as they read. The book features more than 30 illustrations, including Katniss with Prim and her mom, the 24 Hunger Games tributes standing around the Cornucopia, Madge pinning her iconic mockingjay pin on Katniss, and more.

Paris-based artist Nico Delort created the art for The Hunger Games. He has previously worked on books, magazines, movie posters, and more. Delort’s art style is realistic and black and white, perfect for the serious tone of the series.

The illustrated version of The Hunger Games is available for preorder now and will hit shelves starting Oct. 1 for $34.99. It’s on the pricier side for a book, but The Hunger Games is so worth it, we’ll definitely be in line to buy it!
