Pennywise is coming to Hollywood, and not just on the big screen. While the release of New Line Cinema’s It Chapter Two draws closer, horror fans can make the wait time a little shorter with a real-life version of the movie at an It-themed experience on the corner of Hollywood and Vine in Los Angeles.
From Aug. 15-Sept. 8, fans can visit Derry’s Canal Days Festival Fun House to explore 10 immersive rooms, including a hall of mirrors, clown heavy bags, Derry’s creepy sewers, and more. It takes 40 minutes to get through the haunted house, with a chance to run into the mysterious “host” around each twist and turn. Visitors can also play classic carnival games and take photos by the Ferris Wheel.
It Experience: Chapter Two is free, but make reservations in advance, or show proof of an It Chapter Two movie ticket purchase in the IMAX format to join the reservation line. Leave those babies at home because the event is for ages 18 and older, but 17-year-old guests can attend when accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult.
