Be still our nostalgic hearts—Sonic the Hedgehog is getting his own movie.

The best part? James Marsden (Westworld) will star in the feature film. The 2019 movie will use a mix of live action and CGI instead of animation, which should make for an interesting combination. It’s unclear if the movie will go the Space Jam route or do something totally new.

Based on the SEGA video game, Sonic the Hedgehog will feature Jeff Fowler as director, Neal H. Moritz as producer, and Tim Miller (Deadpool director) and Toby Ascher as executive producers.

The 1991 classic game offers the movie plenty of characters, including Tails, Knuckles, and Doctor Eggman Robotnik. Let’s be real, the egg dude was the most fun “big boss” to beat at the end of video games when his nuts and screws started flying everywhere.
