The Rock Plays Danny DeVito in the New ‘Jumanji’ Trailer

The first trailer for Jumanji: The Next Level is here and there are all kinds of Freaky Friday vibes going on. In the Jumanji sequel, the kids from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle return, but all of their characters are mixed up. 

This time, Spencer’s grandfather (played by Danny DeVito) is part of the game, with the Rock as his avatar. In other words, the Rock is playing Danny DeVito.

The movie also stars Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Awkwafina, Nick Jonas, Danny Glover, and Karen Gillan and is coming to theaters on Dec. 13.
