Straight out of New York Comic Con (NYCC), Kabam revealed its brand-new role-playing game, and this time, players can become their own Marvel superhero.
Marvel Realm of Champions is a real-time mobile RPG in which players can head to the forbidden Battleworld to align with one of the planet’s houses and explore a variety of Marvel-themed environments on their quest for victory.
Players will align themselves in Marvel-inspired houses and team up with friends for real-time action arena combat against other players and in-game enemies during an epic war in the Battleworld. The houses are based on your favorite heroes, including House of Iron (Iron Man), Spider-Guild (Spider-Man), Patriot Garrison (Captain America), and X-Men (Pyramid X).
“With Marvel Contest of Champions celebrating its fifth huge year, it’s thrilling to see Kabam expand their ongoing story and invite players to become their own Marvel Super Hero to vie for the fate of Battleworld,” said Bill Rosemann, Marvel Games VP of creative, in a statement. “From the gleaming skyscrapers of the House of Iron to the webbed alleyways of the Spider-Guild, both dedicated players and casual fans alike have an entire planet waiting for them to explore and conquer.”
More information regarding this new Marvel RPG will be showcased at the Marvel Games NYCC panel this afternoon at 3 p.m., and fans can align with their own house at booth No. 556.
