Time for some magic!
Ahead of the Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix unveiled a first look at the new Kingdom Hearts III downloadable content (DLC) video game. While we don’t yet know the official release date, this upcoming version will be available this winter. Considering it’s already autumn, that’s so close! Get ready!
In this new KH3 game, titled “Re Mind,” players journey to a familiar realm and encounter powerful new bosses, ready for several rounds of head-to-head battles. The game follows Sora’s quest to defeat the nefarious Organization XIII and protect Kairi from danger. As part of KH3‘s new gameplay, players can switch characters in some battles. Then, using the free, downloadable game update, players can collect additional Keyblades.
Square Enix released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming game. While the teaser doesn’t share much about what fans can expect, it does tease a new battle form for Sora and original story scenes.
Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind launches this winter on Playstation 4 and Xbox One devices.
