Next year, ’90s kids can return to the Steps of Knowledge, the Shrine of the Silver Monkey, and more as the Nickelodeon game show Legends of the Hidden Temple finds a second life (or third, if you count that 2016 TV movie) on the upcoming Quibi streaming platform.
The original series ran from 1993-1995, and each episode featured six teams of kids competing in a variety of mental and physical challenges. Today, the official Quibi account tweeted a GIF of Olmec, the iconic talking rock from the series, along with the news that Legends of the Hidden Temple will come to Quibi next year.

Quibi says this version will be “scaled up with tougher challenges and bigger prizes on the line,” and the contestants will be adults! According to Buzzfeed, the series will also take place in a real jungle. There aren’t too many other details about the new series yet, but the nature of Quibi means the show will definitely be a different length than the original — everything on Quibi is set to be 10 minutes long or less.
Stay tuned for additional details!
