Characters and locales from all Star Wars eras are about to gather (and fight it out) in a new mobile game.
LEGO Star Wars Battles — which has been in the works for two years — is a video game produced by Warner Bros. Games, The LEGO Group, and Lucasfilm Games that will be available exclusively to Apple Arcade, Apple’s game subscription service that offers unlimited access without ads or in-app purchases.
In the game, players can mix and match characters and vehicles from all eras of Star Wars to create unstoppable squads. You can collect Luke Skywalker, Rey, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Boba Fett, Darth Vader, and more. There are also Porgs, Stormtroopers, battle droids, and a variety of vehicles, including the Millenium Falcon and AT-ATs.
The fast-paced gameplay also blends real-time multiplayer matches with striking visuals. Players use strategy to master light side and dark side armies, each featuring their own play styles. No matter which side you’re on, you’ll deploy troops and build LEGO towers on the battlefield to destroy your opponent’s base.
The game will be available soon, exclusively as part of the Apple Arcade subscription ($4.99 a month). It will be playable on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV devices (Sorry, Android users!).
