Earlier this year, Asmodee Entertainment launched Aconyte Books, an imprint set to produce original novels inspired by Asmodee games.
Today, Aconyte announced a multi-year partnership with Marvel to produce stories based on Marvel’s comic book characters.
According to Aconyte publisher Marc Gascoigne, fans can expect “legends from Asgard, several volumes focusing on some of Marvel’s heroines, and stories of some of Professor Xavier’s lesser-known students, and that’s just to get us started.”
The novels are set to debut next fall in paperback, ebook, and audiobook editions.
This marks Asmodee’s third collaboration with Marvel. The first was with Asmodee’s Fantasy Flight Games for the Marvel Champions living card game, while the second was with Atomic Mass, an Asmodee studio that is developing a tabletop miniatures game called Marvel: Crisis Protocol.
