After leaving audiences hanging with a cliffhanger this summer, Masters of the Universe: Revelation — Part 2 will hit Netflix on Nov. 23 to provide some much-needed answers to what’s really happening in Eternia.
This week, Mattel and Netflix pulled back the curtain on the official trailer for the new batch of episodes while revealing some new cast members along the way. Dee Bradley Baker, perhaps best known for voicing Captain Rex and other clone troopers in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and Star Wars Rebels joins the series as the voice of Savage He-Man. Additionally, Wu-Tang Clan’s Method Man joins the cast as Clamp Champ with Danny Trejo (Machete, Spy Kids) as Ram-Man. Check out the official trailer below.
“For years it was assumed that Prince Adam could only call upon the Power of Grayskull using the Sword of Power, but Adam himself always wondered what would happen if he called upon the power without the sword,” said PJ Lewis, vice president, global head – action figures, Mattel in a statement earlier this month. “We now know the answer: Savage He-Man.”
Masters of the Universe (MOTU) currently has its largest presence at retail since the 1980s with MOTU Origins action figures, vehicles, and playsets; Masterverse action figures and beasts; a range of Mini Figures; a Mega Construx line; and extensions into other Mattel brands, including Hot Wheels, Imaginext, and Fisher-Price Little People.
