If McFarlane Toys is making you head to a panel during a con, they aren’t messing around. Todd McFarlane and the rest of the team revealed 75 new products at the company’s panel during New York Comic Con (NYCC).
The panel kicked off with some of McFarlane’s final DC Comics collectibles, as their licensing agreement ends this year. A selection of revealed figures includes 7-inch figures of Bruce Wayne, Batman from The Long Halloween, and Batman from Challengers of the Unknown; McFarlane Collector Edition figures of Star Sapphire, Mary Shazam!, and Val Zod; and Deluxe Theatrical Edition figures of The Penguin from The Penguin, Batman Unmasked from Batman Returns, and Ice Suit Batgirl from Batman & Robin.
A new lineup of Marvel figures is also on the way, including 1:10-scale statues based on Deadpool and Wolverine, Avengers: Doomsday, Marvel Rivals, and various comic runs
McFarlane is also continuing the expansion of its sports figures, with new additions to the MLB line including Freddy Freeman, Fernando Tatis Jr., and George Springer; new additions to the NBA line including Jalen Brunson, Jayson Tatum, and Luka Doncic; and new additions to the NFL line including Travis Kelce, Drake Maye, and Dak Prescott.
The company is leaning into its collaboration with major video game brands and showcased new releases based on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, God of War, Fallout, and Poppy Playtime. The panel featured the debut of McFarlane’s collaboration with PlayStation for Diablo Immortal, which features a new Spawn character design that fits right into the universe of the game.
