Who needs those flimsy ol’ regular mouse ears when you could have snazzy, limited-release Mickey and Minnie Mouse ears from the new Disney Parks Designer Collection? No one, that’s who!
Beginning on May 24, guests at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort can get their hands on a series of Mickey Mouse ear hats and Minnie Mouse ear headbands designed by notable celebrities, designers, and artists. The collection will introduce signature elements from each collaborator, giving Mickey and Minnie a never-before-seen look.
New designs will roll out each month, including a bridal-inspired design using hand-sewn crystal and pearl embroidery from Vera Wang; a decadent, crystal-encrusted ear hat from The Blonds; a mommy-and-daughter set by Cupcakes and Cashmere; and a genuine, leather-crafted, floral-inspired ear headband by Coach (pictured above).
There’s even a classic, pink-puffed ear headband by Betsey Johnson.
Fab supermodel, TV host, and entrepreneur Heidi Klum designed a pair of ears coming this fall. And early next year, an ear headband designed by supermodel Karlie Kloss will hit shelves.
Much of the collection was inspired by Disney characters and Disney Parks attractions, including an Enchanted Tiki Room-inspired design and forthcoming designs by Disney Imagineers, such as Kim Irvine, Kevin Rafferty, and Joe Rohde.
So. Many. Beautiful. Options. And that’s not even all. Other designers include Harveys (pictured above), Alex and Ani, Loungefly, and a design from a galaxy far, far away created by Star Wars actress and girl boss Ashley Eckstein for Her Universe. Some designs are also featured in the WonderGround Art Galleries, from artists including Noah, Shag, Jerrod Maruyama, Dave Perillo, and John Coulter.
