Believe it or not, New York Comic Con (NYCC) is just over a month away! 

Reedpop, a leading producer of pop culture events, just unveiled a look at this year’s programming for the fan event. A selection of publishers, cosplayers, and special guests will take the stage at the Javits Center in New York City from Oct. 12-15 for panels covering a wide variety of pop culture topics.

The full panel schedule includes some star-studded offerings. However, the ongoing SAG-AFTRA negotiations may impact these celebs’ ability to attend NYCC. However, there are plenty of panels featuring creators and exclusive screenings to ensure that the show will go on.

Some of these highlights include:

  • Hulu’s Futurama Screening & Panel – Oct. 12, 4:15 p.m., Main Stage: The beloved animated sci-fi series recently returned to Hulu with new episodes after a 10-year hiatus. Screen the season finale and get a sneak peek at Season 12, followed by a panel with creatives behind the show.
  • Max Presents: Scavengers Reign – Oct. 12, 4:30 p.m., Room 405: Co-creator Joe Bennett and the team of animators from Green Street Productions will explore the creative process that turned their award-winning short into Max’s newest adult animation series. There will be a screening of the debut episode before it premieres on Max.
  • Blumfest NYCC – Oct. 12, 7 p.m., Empire Stage: Blumhouse founder Jason Blum, the producer of M3GAN, the Halloween trilogy, and The Black Phone, reveals exclusive details about the company’s upcoming films, including Five Nights at Freddy’s, Night Swim, and Totally Killer.
  • Disney+ Original Series Goosebumps — A Thrilling New Series for a New Generation – Oct. 13, 3 p.m., Main Stage: Join the team behind Goosebumps as they screen the premiere episode of the new series inspired by R.L. Stine’s worldwide bestselling books.
  • Laugh til’ You Scream! Shining Vale Season Two Premiere – Oct. 13, 6 p.m., Room 405: Watch the season two premiere of STARZ’s horror-comedy Shining Vale.
  • FX’s Archer: Exclusive Screening – Oct. 13, 6:00 p.m., Main Stage: The animated spy comedy returns to the Big Apple for one last celebration! This screening will be full of never-before-seen footage and additional surprises, including a NYCC-exclusive giveaway and a special announcement.
  • Chucky Season 3: Exclusive Screening – Oct. 13, 6:45 p.m., Empire Stage: The murderous doll we all know and love is back for more mischief just in time for Halloween! Join Chucky for an exclusive screening of a new episode from the series and much more.
  • Thanksgiving Panel and Footage Presentation with Eli Roth – Oct. 13, 8:30 p.m., Empire Stage: Director Eli Roth discusses the upcoming release of the TriStar Pictures film Thanksgiving, in theaters Nov. 17. After a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy, a mysterious Thanksgiving-inspired killer terrorizes Plymouth, Massachusetts, the birthplace of the holiday.
  • Chef José Andrés and Steve Orlando Present Feeding Dangerously – Oct. 13, 7:45 p.m., Room 409: Nobel Peace Prize Nominee Chef José Andrés (virtual) and Eisner-nominated comic creator Steve Orlando (Wonder Woman), will discuss this breakout graphic novel that follows Andrés and his non-profit World Central Kitchen, which provides meals in the wake of natural disasters. Andrés and Orlando will discuss Andrés’ lifelong love of comic books, what it means to take his talents into this new art form, and much more.
  • Designing Worlds of Horror in Scream, Insidious and More – Oct. 13, 9:15 p.m., Room 406.1: The costume designers behind Scream VI, Insidious: The Red Door, The Walking Dead, and Twisted Metal and the production designer behind Mike Flanagan’s The Fall of the House of Usher dive into the creation of film and television’s most popular horror/action releases this year. Panelists will discuss how they bring their designs from script to screen, as well as provide a unique glimpse into their creative approaches as filmmakers.
  • Scott Pilgrim Takes Off with Series Creators Bryan Lee O’Malley & BenDavid Grabinski – Oct. 14, 12:15 p.m., Room 405: Join the minds behind the upcoming Netflix series for a Q&A and exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming anime reimagining of the beloved comics.
  • Fox Entertainment Present Krapopolis and Grimsburg – Oct. 14, 12:30 p.m., Main Stage: Krapopolis tells the story of a dysfunctional family of humans, gods, and monsters that try their hand at running the world’s first cities…without trying to kill one another. Grimsburg centers on Marvin Flute (Jon Hamm), who may be the greatest detective ever to catch a cannibal clown and correctly identify a mid-century armoire. But there’s one mystery he still can’t crack — himself. 
  • Marvel: Next Big Thing – Oct. 14, 3:15 p.m., Room 405: Join Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski as he and some of the most monumental talent of today – including Gerry Duggan (X-Men, Uncanny Avengers), Jonathan Hickman (G.O.D.S., Ultimate Universe) and Jed MacKay (Avengers, Moon Knight) – give a behind-the-scenes look at Marvel’s biggest books while peeling back the curtain on the future of the Marvel Universe. This panel is full of announcements, first looks, and a one-of-a-kind giveaway.
  • Matthew Vaughn: Argylle’s Master of Madness – Oct. 14, 6:15 p.m., Empire Stage: Filmmaker Matthew Vaughn takes fans behind the curtain of his genre-shattering blockbusters, including Kick-Ass, The Kingsman films, X-Men: First Class, Stardust, and Layer Cake
  • Exclusive First Look at The Strangers Trilogy – Oct. 14, 7:30 p.m., Room 409: Director Renny Harlin and producer Courtney Solomon discuss The Strangers and will provide an exclusive first look at their new horror trilogy, releasing from Lionsgate in 2024. They will also discuss the making of all three films during a Q&A. 
  • Monsters at Work — A First Look Behind the Doors of Season Two – Oct. 15, 12:00 p.m., Room 405: Get a sneak peek of Monsters at Work ahead of its season two debut. This Emmy Award-nominated animated series is inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Monsters, Inc.
  • Disney+ Original Series Percy Jackson and the Olympians Sneak Peek – Oct. 15, 1:15 p.m., Empire Stage: The highly-anticipated series makes its debut at NYCC with an exclusive sneak peek ahead of its premiere on Dec. 20.

In addition to the programming schedule, NYCC has released the exhibitor list for this year’s show. The highlights include Funko, Bandai, Marvel, Penguin Random House, Scholastic, AWA, Vault, and more.
