NBCUniversal plans to launch a new streaming service in early 2020 that will be free to NBCUniversal’s paid TV subscribers in the U.S. and major international markets.

The ad-supported service will feature TV series and movies from NBCUniversal’s content library, as well as content from outside partners. Comcast Cable and Sky will provide the service to their 52 million subscribers, with an ad-free version available for a fee. Non-paid TV customers can purchase a subscription to the service.

NBCUniversal will continue to license content to other studios and platforms, while retaining rights to certain titles for its new service.
