Disney released the trailer for its upcoming live-action version of Dumbo, from director Tim Burton, in which fans can relive the classic tale on the big screen.
In the film, circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) hires former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly and Joe (Nico Parker and Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant with rather larger ears at the struggling circus. As they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an impressive comeback, attracting entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton) to recruit the elephant for his latest venture, Dreamland.
Dumbo literally soars to new heights as the star of Dreamland with aerial artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Farrell’s character Holt learns that Dreamland—beneath its glossy veneer—has some dark secrets.
With its star-studded cast, direction by the iconic Tim Burton, and a screenplay by Ehren Kruger (Ophelia, Dream House), Dumbo opens in theaters March 29, 2019.
