Nike’s Yu-Gi-Oh! Collection Is Fit For Dueling Champions

Step aside, duelists — Nike is bringing the heart of the cards to your closet.

The new Nike x Yu-Gi-Oh! Collection is a mashup of anime nostalgia and street-ready style inspired by the iconic Japanese series. The drop pays homage to one of the world’s greatest duelists, Joey Wheeler, and includes a limited edition apparel line in addition to new Nike Air Max 95s.

Yu-Gi-Oh! fans and sneakerheads unite — the Nike Air Max 95 QS YGO Joey looks just like the sneakers Joey wears in the series. Fans can literally step into his shoes and prepare for their next duel. It features blue hues and the Yu-Gi-Oh! logo and graphics inside and underneath.

Channel Joey with the Destroyer Jacket, a vintage varsity jacket representing Domino High. The blue jacket includes six patches with nods to iconic moments already sewn on and 12 additional patches for duelists to customize their jackets. Fans will see DH with the Nike logo, “Dueling Team,” “Duel Monsters,” a gold star, and more.

The Men’s Solo Swoosh Tee features Joey’s legendary monster, Red-Eyes Black Dragon, on the back with both brands’ logos on the front. This T-shirt is available in black and white.

Fans can’t risk missing out on this drop, even if the only thing at stake is your fit. The Nike x Yu-Gi-Oh! Collection will be available Sept. 12 globally at SNKRS and select Nike retail partners.
