The Avengers have survived a lot, but Doctor Doom is enough to drive Marvel fans to drink. Fortunately, Orphan Barrel just dropped a new limited-edition whiskey, so fans can pour one out when their faves meet their fate.
Inspired by Avengers: Doomsday, Latverian Cask is a 20-year-old light whiskey that pays homage to Doctor Doom’s imperial homeland. The 92-proof spirit features notes of caramel, vanilla, honey, and butterscotch, with hints of orange peel and oak. Fans can enjoy it neat, over ice, or mixed into their favorite cocktails as they count down the days until the film’s Dec. 18 premiere.
In the battle for your bar cart, this bottle has no rival. On the label, fans can spot original artwork by legendary Marvel artist Rod Reis, complete with the Avengers: Doomsday around the neck. As a sinister surprise, one in six bottles will also feature a holographic label treatment, making this collectible a multiversal must-have.
Fans can find Latverian Cask at select retailers and online starting Nov. 1. Here’s to the end of the world!
