The King of the Monsters is turning 72, and his birthday bash is going to be monstrous! Godzilla Day returns Nov. 3, celebrating the anniversary of the original Godzilla film’s 1954 Japanese theatrical debut with new collectibles, exclusive merchandise, video games, and special screenings.
This year’s festivities are especially big for moviegoers. Godzilla Minus Zero is stomping into North American IMAX theaters for early access screenings Nov. 3, ahead of its wide theatrical release Nov. 6. Meanwhile, gamers can get in on the action with Atari’s Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered. While the game doesn’t launch until Nov. 3, fans can demo it early on Steam now.

For fans looking to bring a little monster mayhem home, several brands are launching new collectibles and merchandise for the occasion. Super7 is releasing its Toho Wave 15 Showa Monster Island mystery boxes, a Godzilla ’84 Movie Poster figure, and a Shin Godzilla (Charging) figure on Nov. 3. Spiral Toy is also joining the celebration with two versions of Godzilla (2026): a Standard Edition and a Heat Ray Edition.
Meanwhile, Attack Peter is creating exclusive Godzilla Day artwork that will appear on a selection of products launching Nov. 3 at godzilla.com. Brain Dead is dropping a new collection the same day, while RockLove Jewelry is preparing to launch preorders for a Godzilla jewelry collection.

Arbiter Studio has revealed a King Ghidorah keyboard, with additional products still to be announced. Fans can also preorder The Mondo Art of Godzilla from Insight Editions or grab Godzilla costumes and a six-foot lawn inflatable from Rubies — because it’s never too early to start planning for next Halloween!

And the celebrations don’t stop there! Smoko is hosting a social media giveaway featuring Godzilla Tayto Blind Boxes and Bag Charms, while FYE is highlighting its Godzilla merchandise across its social channels.
Even Books-A-Million is getting in on the monster madness with a giant Godzilla Minus One plush giveaway at 10 participating stores. A limited number of plush will also be available for purchase beginning Nov. 1, and customers who purchase Godzilla merchandise can receive an exclusive Godzilla Minus Zero pin.

For another trip to the movies, Alamo Drafthouse is hosting a TohoScope screening of 1974’s Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, complete with a Mechagodzilla popcorn bucket available as a ticket add-on. If you’re in Los Angeles, keep an eye out for a free Godzilla Minus Zero IMAX screening hosted by Brain Dead.
With more announcements still on the way, Godzilla Day 2026 is shaping up to be a celebration worthy of the King of the Monsters. Fans can explore the latest releases and merchandise at godzilla.com and catch Godzilla Minus Zero in theaters beginning Nov. 3.
