Directors Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer have released a new trailer for their upcoming remake of Pet Sematary, based on Stephen King’s novel.

In the trailer, we meet the Creed family who move to a new home next to a small pet cemetery. However, what they don’t know is that the land allows the creatures buried there to come back to life. Once tragedy strikes, the family pushes the cemetery’s powers to the extreme.

Jason Clarke and Amy Seimetz star as parents Louis and Rachel Creed, with kids Ellie and Gage (Jeté Laurence and Hugo and Lucas Lavioe, respectively). John Lithgow is set to play the creepy neighbor Jud Crandall, who informs them of the cemetery’s powers.

Pet Sematary arrives in theaters April 5.
