Pokémon knows that all pets deserve to be in the spotlight.
The Pokémon Co. is putting on a Super Pet Contest, inspired by the Super Contest Shows featured in the upcoming Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl video games.
Animal lovers and Pokémon fans from the UK, France, Germany, and the U.S. can enter photos of their beloved felines, canines, and more into the digital contest until Nov. 9. Just like no two Pokémon are alike, no two pets are alike so all types of fuzzy friends are welcome (or non-fuzzy if you happen to have a naked mole rat).
There are three categories to enter: Clever, Cute, and Cool. Obviously, all of our pets are all three of those things but there will only be four winners per category. There are also helpful photo guidelines available to make sure that you are submitting the best photos of your best friend!
New photos will be displayed daily online and you can vote on your faves up to 10 times per day. The final winners will be chosen by media personality Michelle Visage.
Winners will be announced on Nov. 16, three days before the games launch exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. Prizes will include the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl Dual Packs, Nintendo Switch Lite Dialga and Palkia Editions, and more.
