Rachel Weisz (The Favourite) and David Harbour (Stranger Things) are in talks to join Marvel’s Black Widow standalone movie starring Scarlett Johansson. The story will focus on Natasha Romanoff, a spy and assassin trained by the KGB who grew up to become an agent of SHIELD and an Avenger.
There is no word yet on who Weisz or Harbour will play, and it is still unclear whether Black Widow will be an origin story or set after Avengers: Endgame. The film will begin production this June in London.
