Ruby Rose officially suited up to answer the Bat Phone.
In a first look at Batwoman for the upcoming DC Arrowverse crossover, The CW revealed the first photo of the Orange is the New Black actress dressed as the Gotham City hero.
The image shows a cool Batwoman, with Rose sporting Kate Kane’s fiery red hair, a red Bat symbol, and a pair of bat ears on her mask.
“[Ruby] is terrific in the role, and we’re excited for people to see the story,” Executive Producer Greg Berlanti told The Hollywood Reporter.
Batwoman is set to make her CW debut in the annual DC crossover event, beginning December 9. The episode will be titled “Elsewords,” and spans Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl.
The network previously announced that a standalone series surrounding Kate Kane’s alter ego is in the works, in development by The Vampire Diaries writer Caroline Dries. If the new series is picked up, it would likely debut during the 2019-2020 season.
