Tonight, Marvel Studios took over Hall H for the most highly anticipated panel at this year’s Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC). President Kevin Feige introduced the panel, starting by welcoming and thanking fans before revealing a blank timeline for the fourth phase of the MCU.

Buckle up, because here’s that timeline for you, all filled in.

black widow

Black Widow (May 1, 2020)

This was the final project announced during the SDCC panel, but it’s no surprise to most Marvel fans that Black Widow will start off the next phase of the MCU. The cast officially includes Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, and Rachel Weisz.

The movie has been filming for about a month now, and the studio showed a teaser clip at the panel. According to those at the panel, we finally get to see Budapest! It also showed Natasha against both Yelena and Taskmaster.

This is the first animated contribution to the MCU. The series will feature Jeffrey Wright as the voice of the Watcher and dozens of other MCU stars reprising their roles — including Mark Ruffalo, Chadwick Boseman, and Jeremy Renner. Check out who will be involved in this photo that Ryan Penagos tweeted.

Thor: Love and Thunder (Nov. 5, 2021)

Wow, that title. Thor is back and, as reported last week, so is director Taika Waititi. The cast includes Chris Hemsworth returning as Thor, Tessa Thompson returning as Valkyrie, and — get ready for it — Natalie Portman, who will portray female Thor!

blade

Blade (TBD)

We don’t have a release date for this yet, but Marvel also announced that we will be getting a Blade movie starring Mahershala Ali.

Although they were not formally announced, Kevin Feige did confirm that Captain Marvel 2, Black Panther 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 are also on the way. He even mentioned the Fantastic Four and “mutants.”
