Con-goers aren’t the only ones headed to New York City!
New York Comic Con (NYCC) is coming right up, starting tomorrow, Oct. 12. Con-goers from every fandom under the sun are getting ready to gather at the Big Apple for days of cosplay, new merch, and more. Mattel’s Skeletor (well-known from Masters of the Universe) has also found his way to the city through a portal, and he is already popping up at a variety of locations.
What’s Skeletor doing in New York City? It seems his trusted companion cat, Panthor, has gone missing, so he is on the hunt to find his friend. The city has been dotted with clues, such as paw prints. Skeletor is willing to search all over, hitting the subway, local eateries, the zoo, and more. While NYCC attendees enjoy the sights of the con, they should also keep an eye out for everyone’s favorite He-Man nemesis. If you can’t spot Skeletor himself, you can at least look for a “Missing Cat” poster offering a reward to anyone who can help find Panthor.
Mattel is currently celebrating 41 years of Masters of the Universe. Any fans of the franchise should keep their eyes peeled for exclusive events and new reveals throughout this NYCC weekend.
