OK, Star Trek fans, mark your calendars for Sept. 15 and 18 because that’s when Star Trek: The Motion Picture will return to theaters for exclusive anniversary screenings.

Fathom Events and Paramount Pictures announced today that the movie will return to theaters nationwide in honor of its 40th anniversary. Star Trek: The Motion Picture was the first big-screen adventure for the Starship Enterprise, and this is its first time back in theaters since its 1979 debut. In addition to the movie, fans will also get to watch the behind-the-scenes documentary short, The Longest Trek: Writing the Motion Picture.

Tickets for the theatrical rerelease will be available online starting on Aug. 2.
