Friends from a galaxy far, far away are stepping onto the Disney Parks grounds for a limited time with an exclusive update in the Disney Magic Kingdoms mobile app.
New Star Wars favorites were added to the cast of Disney and Pixar characters who roam the customizable theme park in Disney Magic Kingdoms, in which mouseketeers build the Disney park of their dreams. According to starwars.com, the limited-run event begins on Dec. 19 by welcoming Rey, Kylo Ren, BB-8, R2-D2, C-3PO, and a number of Star Wars-themed lands and narrative content to the Kingdom.
Playtime is limited, however, as some features and playable characters will disappear when the event ends on Jan. 14, while other content will stick around in the game indefinitely.
The gameplay doesn’t follow the events of The Rise of Skywalker, instead focusing on themes throughout the saga that will serve as the basis for Star Wars character quests.
Players can begin leveling-up their characters and unlocking new lands and attractions in anticipation of the event’s launch by downloading Disney Magic Kingdoms app today. See the action for yourself in the promo trailer below.
