The Russians are coming, the Russians are coming! Well at least, according to the Stranger Things page on IMDb. A Reddit user noticed that the cast listing for season three of the Netflix series included “Russian Guard, Russian Soldier, and various other Russian military positions.

After someone plastered the sighting on Reddit, the IMDb page was wiped clean of the word “Russian”—except for actor Ryan Mari doing utility stunts as “Russian guard” in three episodes, which is still listed.

Although anyone can make edits on IMDb, the fact that the page was edited to remove all the Russian characters suggests that maybe this is a vital plot line of season three that Netflix is not ready to reveal just yet.

The new season of Stranger Things premieres next year but does not yet have a release date. However, the episode titles were released earlier this month.
