Who is a brainiac? Time to dust off your trivia knowledge in this new board game from Studio71 and Nighthawk Games.

Half Truth, from the Red Arrow Studios company, is designed by Magic: The Gathering game designer Richard Garfield and 74-time Jeopardy! champion Ken Jennings. The party game launched on Kickstarter yesterday and will be available in time for the holiday season.

This party game features 500 trivia question cards with one question and six possible answers written out. For each category, such as “animals with blue tongues,” there are three correct and three incorrect answers, and players place bets on which they believe are correct.

“It’s been a privilege seeing Richard and Ken, two masters in their respective fields, come together to deliver a one of a kind experience for fans through Half Truth,” said Studio71 Chief Product Officer and President of Gaming Javon Frazier in a statement. “The game is a unique combination of trivia and deduction, so whether you are book smart or street smart, you have a 50-50 chance of winning! This is a fantastic party game for everyone and we are excited to bring this to market by the holidays this year.”

These trivia expert game creators spent nearly 13 years compiling the best questions to test your smarts and skills. With their experience with Magic and Jeopardy!, it’s clear they know what they are talking about; after one round, you’ll definitely feel smarter.

In just one day, Half Truth has already raised more than $42,400 from 1,447 backers, with 28 more days to go on Kickstarter. If you are interested in contributing, each backing level includes different perks, including an early-bird copy of the game once it is released.
