The Nintendo Switch continues to expand its use as a retro gaming system with the addition of Super Mario Bros. 2 and Kirby’s Adventure. The classic video games come to the Nintendo Entertainment System — Nintendo Switch Online subscription service beginning Feb. 13. Super Mario Bros. 2 is the blockbuster 1988 sequel to the 1985 classic, while Kirby’s Adventure first hit NES consoles in 1993 and is widely hailed as one of the finest games ever released for the system.
The Nintendo Switch Online service includes access to more than 30 classic NES titles, such as Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda, Ninja Gaiden, Excitebike, and more. Members also gain access to online play and cloud backup of saved data in compatible games. Plans, accessories, and current offers can be found at the Switch Online hub.
