It’s-a great news for Nintendo fans! Starting next year, you won’t need to leave the U.S. to visit a Super Nintendo World theme park. One of these video-game-inspired lands is opening next year as part of Universal Studios Hollywood.
The first Super Nintendo World opened last year within Universal Studios Japan and has been well-received. The park takes fans into the world of their Super Mario faves, including Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach.
The new Super Mario World in California will be similarly immersive and packed with vibrant colors to make guests feel like they are walking through a level of a Mario game. The park will offer a new ride, interactive areas, and themed shopping and dining.
To celebrate this new park and build excitement, Universal Studios Hollywood will convert part of its popular Feature Presentation retail store to be Super Nintendo World-themed. The shop will soon offer Mario and Luigi apparel (including their iconic hats), a selection of plush characters, and more.
