Last year, comic book fans and the general public both fell in love with the unusual and exciting story of The Umbrella Academy, a Netflix show based on the graphic novels by Gerard Way. More than 45 million people watched the series in its first month, which prompted Netflix to greenlight a second season that is set to premiere this year.

While we (impatiently) wait for that second season to drop, fans can get their hands on The Making of the Umbrella Academy, a hardcover book, from Dark Horse Comics, that looks at the process of taking the dysfunctional family of superhero savants from page to screen. It features 200 pages of content, including hundreds of behind-the-scenes images.

The book ($39.99) doesn’t officially release until July 7, but fans can preorder it now from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or their local comic book shop.
