Are you the hero or the villain? It’s time to choose sides.

Two players face off in The Rocketeer: Fate of the Future, a new board game from Funko Games. In the game, players each have to pick a side: The mysterious Rocketeer trying to stop a sinister plot or Neville Sinclair, who’s trying to fuel a dark future of warfare. Each player’s goal is to fulfill their own agenda while evading the other, in a mission that takes about 45 minutes to complete.

The tabletop game is beautifully designed, inspired by the art-deco style made popular in Hollywood’s golden age. The main premise for the story arc comes from the 1991 Disney film The Rocketeer, which transported viewers to this era.

The Rocketeer: Fate of the Future will first be available for purchase at Gen Con in September and will then head to game store shelves later in the fall. Which means, yes, you can probably choose to be the villain at your Thanksgiving celebration.
