There has been a disturbance in the Force today. USAopoly (The OP) and Disney Consumer Products UK announced Star Wars: Dark Side Rising, a new cooperative card and dice game, and we are ready.
Inspired by the events leading up to and through Star Wars: A New Hope, players ages 10 and up work together in this light strategy tabletop game to recruit rebels and prevent the construction of the original Death Star. The game will be available in the European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) regions this fall.

In Star Wars: Dark Side Rising, each of the two to four players starts with an individual board that indicates the Rebel cell they are leading. The boards depict the Base of Operations and Team Leader for each player — Captain Cassian Andor, Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, and Hera Syndulla. Players must coordinate efforts to recruit iconic characters and organize their cells to thwart the Empire’s rise to galactic domination. The main game board features a custom-sculpted, 3D Darth Vader bust that commands the Imperial operatives and actions with orders to wipe out the Rebels and to make the Death Star operational.
