While some studios choose to launch 30-second spots during the Super Bowl (see: Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame), Paramount Pictures opted to go with a 30-second “pre-kick spot” during the Big Game, with a full trailer for Wonder Park online. From Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies, Wonder Park tells the story of a magnificent amusement park where the imagination of a wildly creative girl named June comes alive.

Featuring the voice talents of Jennifer Garner, Matthew Broderick, John Oliver, Mila Kunis, Kenan Thompson, Ken Jeong, Norbert Leo Butz, Brianna Denski, and Ken Hudson Campbell, Wonder Park has had an interesting journey thus far.

First announced in 2014 as Amusement Park, the film was retitled Wonder Park last spring, a move that led to some confusion as to why the park mentioned in the first round of trailers was called Wonderland. The latest trailer is the first to feature characters actually referring to the magical locale as “Wonder Park,” though there’s still no director credited on the project. Last year, both the original director and one member of the voice cast were replaced following allegations in-line with the #MeToo movement.

With Wonder Park back on track for a March 15 release, an animated series has already been put into production by Nickelodeon, with a full range of toys from Funrise expected to be shown at Toy Fair New York.
