Happy Force Friday! In honor of today’s release of the Star Wars finale, The Rise of Skywalker, it seems like all anyone can talk about is the epic conclusion.
Come this spring, prepare to relive all the glory from the entire Skywalker Saga all at once! A leak over on Best Buy Canada yesterday showcased a new product link for a massive 27-disc collection of the whole Skywalker Saga on Blu-ray. The link has since been taken down, and Disney has not made an official announcement — yet. However, based on a screenshot of the product from IGN, this ginormous set will be sold for $329.99 at the Canadian Best Buy store. The retail site listed a tentative release date for Tuesday, March 31, IGN first reported.
Based on the screenshot above, the films appear to come in an illustrated book rather than a traditional Blu-ray DVD case. No other details about what will be on the discs have been announced, except that it’ll include the nine-movie collection. While the availability and pricing are for Canada, presumably the U.S. dates and prices won’t be far behind. In the meantime, I guess we’ll settle for watching the beginning of the franchise on Disney+ and Rise of Skywalker in theaters.
