Supernatural fans were treated to an extended trailer for the series’ 14th season at the Supernatural panel at International Comic-Con:San Diego.
The Comic-Con exclusive clip is 4 minutes and 27 seconds long and features demon-hunting duo Sam, played by Jared Padalecki, and Dean, played by Jensen Ackles, over a soundtrack of “God Was Never on Your Side,” by Motorhead.
The clip opens with Sam asking the heavy-hitting question, “Do you ever feel like we’re doing nothing but playing defense, bouncing from one apocalypse to the next?” The rest of the video is mostly a compilation of all the drama and demons of past season, since the show has not completed filming for the upcoming season.
Fans will be pumped to see Ackles in his new role as Michael, the archangel who took over Dean’s body in the season 13 finale.
Season 14 premieres Thursday, October 11th on The CW.
