The cat (or rather the flerkin) is out of the bag — Marvel released the second official trailer for Avengers: Endgame this morning. Not only did it give us another heroic tagline with “Whatever it takes,” but it also shows Captain Marvel interacting with the surviving Avengers.
Those who have seen Captain Marvel in theaters know that *spoiler* this technically isn’t the first time, but it’s still very exciting. The scene, which is the last 15 second of the trailer, shows her and Thor having a stare-down, followed by Thor proclaiming, “I like this one.”
A significant portion of the trailer is old Marvel footage with voiceover — scenes from Iron Man, Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, Infinity War, and other MCU classics are shown in black and white. However, literally everything that originally appeared in red is still colored. Very interesting.
As with every Marvel trailer, there’s so, so much to unpack. For starters, Clint’s got a new mohawk (?) and we finally see the snazzy new Avengers team uniforms.
Check out the full, super-dramatic trailer below.
In addition to the trailer, the studio released a new poster for the movie, with Captain Marvel among the group of non-dusted characters.
