We’re all excited to be celebrating the 80th anniversary of Batman this year, and a big mid-year milestone arrives on June 23: the 30th anniversary of Tim Burton’s Batman (1989).
Celebrating the legacy of The Batman through the decades, Maxx Marketing’s YuMe Toys is getting in on the year-long #LongLiveTheBat celebration, officially launching the full line of Batman DZNR (pronounced “Designer”) Series specialty chibi plush we’ve been digging since Toy Fair. Featured on page 60 of the spring issue of the Pop Insider, the Batman DZNR Series showcases classic adventures of The Dark Knight with artwork reflecting the character’s adventures from the comic to the screen.
“Batman is one of the most beloved and recognizable superheroes of all time and we took great care to meticulously design and create the Batman DZNR Series to ensure that the line truly honors Batman’s legacy,” says Michael Kwan, CEO of Maxx Marketing. “We believe that the unique designs and quality of the chibis capture the essence of Batman and will make excellent additions to any collection. We look forward to launching more high-end, licensed chibi plush lines for fans around the world to enjoy.”
The DZNR line isn’t all that YuMe has in the pipeline, with more Bat-tastic merch set to roll out later this year.
Plus, new Batman, new Joker — it’s a great time to be a fan of The Caped Crusader!
