?Here’s the story…? of a classic TV home and the siblings we now know as the Brady Bunch.

Following an epic tale of the sale of the Brady TV residence and HGTV breaking ground on A Very Brady Renovation—which featured a reunion of the famous TV sibs—this new HGTV project will feature the original cast getting their hands dirty to fix up the California home to resemble their iconic TV childhood home.

During their 15-year reunion of the iconic sitcom, the actors portraying the Brady siblings revealed their plans to assist in the remodel. Each of the six stars will pair up with a popular HGTV designer to tackle the home’s exterior and interior renovation, premiering on the network next year.

Maureen McCormick (Marcia Brady) initially considered buying the home herself before HGTV’s winning $3.5 million bid on the house. Now, she’ll tackle the home’s front exterior, entryway, and living room with HGTV wonder-twins Drew and Jonathan Scott.

“In my heart, I am so fond of everything that this house represents,” McCormick told People. “This is going to be an amazing year. They’ve taken the greatest HGTV stars who are all so nice. You can just see their hearts, which I love. They’re beautiful people and I think they’re going to do an amazing job on this. I can see that they really care.”

While McCormick and the Scott twins tackle remodeling the front façade, entry, and living room, her former TV siblings will pair up with other HGTV designers to remodel the rest of the house. Susan Olsen (Cindy Brady) will team up with Good Bones mother-daughter pair Mini Starsiak Hawk and Karen E. Laine to work on the girls’ bedroom, the second floor hallway, and the jack-and-jill bathroom.

“They’re going to cry,” Laine told People. “That’s our goal, to make people happy cry. Just have a lot tears, ruin whatever makeup you might be wearing and hug everybody.”

Mike Lookinland (Bobby Brady) will also assist the Good Bones team on the second floor hallway and landing and the boys’ bedroom. Restored by the Fords brother-sister duo Leanne and Steve Ford will pair with Eve Plumb (Jan Brady) on the family room and kitchen.

“I think the biggest thing is that HGTV is so about family and The Brady Bunch is too, so this is such a natural easy, fun combination,” Leanne Ford told People.

Hidden Potential designer Jasmine Roth will tackle the master suite with Christopher Knight (Peter Brady), and the den and office with Barry Williams (Greg Brady). Lara Spencer from Flea Market Flip will partner with Plumb and Williams on Greg’s attic and Alice’s room, so the home really will resemble the iconic TV set IRL.

“This project is going to help this show transcend generations,” Roth told People. “I don’t know necessarily that The Brady Bunch would’ve made it to the next generation without a big project like this, but it’s going to make it really accessible and relevant to this generation, which is so cool.”
