Get ready to game like it’s 1982.

Retro Games Ltd. and Solutions 2 GO announced earlier today that THEC64 Mini gaming system will be arriving to North American retail stores this fall. Out Oct. 9, the new gaming system is part-replica of the 1982 best-selling home computer and comes pre-loaded with 64 classic video games and the C64 Joystick.

Kids and families will enjoy its easy plug-and-play action, and gamers will be able to revisit the past and play one of the loaded options or program one of their own into the computer. And with the simple addition of a keyboard, the C64 Mini becomes a functional home computer with C64 BASIC. The pre-loaded games feature retro favorites, including Boulder Dash, Summer Games II, Impossible Mission II, among many more.

“We are delighted to be able to bring back some of the most loved retro games ever, on one of the most successful formats of all times,” says Paul Andrews, managing director for Retro Games. “The North American release of THEC64 mini is a reimagining of the classic C64 computer and one of a series of product we have on the way.”

THEC64 Mini will be available across North American retailers Oct. 9.
