Ani-May is baka and better than ever. For this year’s celebration, Crunchyroll is gearing up for 30 days of action-packed livestreams, games, and events filled with anime awesomeness.
This year’s event will also introduce the first-ever Ani-May ambassadors. These anime-obsessed celebrities and influencers will join Crunchyroll’s beloved character Hime to bring weebs to every corner of the web, from cosplay and curated Spotify playlists to exclusive, behind-the-scenes content. The 2026 ambassador team spotlights icons like Rei Ami, Big Sean, and Noah Lyles, with more still to come.
To kick off Ani-May with a bang, Crunchyroll is adding the box-office hit film Chainsaw Man — The Movie: Reze Arc to its streaming platform starting April 30. After the credits roll, fans can head to YouTube for weekly watch parties with anime fans from around the world, or tune into Twitch for a seven-day anime marathon. Meanwhile, on TikTok, the Crunchyroll Anime Awards on May 23 will bring together The Weeknd, Winston Duke, RZA, and more for creator streams and epic fan content.

Game Vault subscribers, clear some gigs! Ani-May is adding a variety of exciting video games to the digital platform, including Gun Grave G.O.R.E., Battle Suit Aces, and even KinnikuNeko: Super Muscle Cat. Xbox players can join the fun with the latest addition to the Forza franchise, Forza Horizon 6. When the game launches on May 19, all Crunchyroll subscribers will have the chance to redeem a free in-game voucher to score the digital car of their dreams.
