The Mandalorian

The Madalorian is coming to the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, next month, and that’s just one piece of a massive Star Wars presence at the three-day Disney event.

For the first time at D23 Expo, Lucasfilm will host a pavilion on the show floor. Fans will get an up-close look at screen-used costumes from the iconic film series, including an encore presentation of the Stormtrooper evolution exhibit that will make its debut at Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) next week, including the Sith Trooper from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

The Lucasfilm pavilion will also have an interactive section for kids, centered around the Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures shorts.

During the Disney+ panel on Friday, Aug. 23, at 3:30 p.m., attendees in Hall D23 can check out a sneak preview of the first-ever, live-action Star Wars series when showrunner Jon Favreau takes the stage with special guests, including Dave Filoni (supervising director on Star Wars: The Clone Wars and writer/director on The Mandalorian). In the new series, Pedro Pascal stars as the title character — “a bounty hunter who travels the outer reaches of the lawless galaxy, surviving as a mercenary-for-hire.”

Tickets for D23 Expo are moving fast, with single-day Saturday tickets and three-day passes already sold out.
