Boo! Halloween is a scary, fun night, and this year, comic fans have a lot to celebrate.
Fans can start celebrating a few days early. As part of Halloween ComicFest (HCF), Diamond Comic fans can enjoy a new lineup of comic books at participating comic shops on Saturday, Oct. 26.
With 28 new titles available, fans will have plenty to read, including 19 full-size novels and nine mini-comics. The event will feature free books, and shops will have the mini-books available for purchase in packs of 25 for $4.99 leading up to the event. Talk about the perfect addition to your treat-bearing jack-o’-lantern on Halloween!
“This year’s Halloween ComicFest is poised to be bigger and better than last year!” said Halloween ComicFest Spokesperson Ashton Greenwood in a statement. “The comics available this year are designed to appeal to a broad range of tastes, from the all-ages Mini Comics featuring popular properties like Archie, DC Superhero Girls, Nickelodeon’s The Loud House, and Pokémon, while the Full-Size Comics feature well-known characters like Sonic the Hedgehog, Boba Fett, Iron Man, and Batman. Halloween ComicFest is the perfect time to discover the wonders of comic shops and experience them as premiere destinations for Halloween fun!”
