What do The Walking Dead, The Umbrella Academy, and Masters of the Universe all have in common? Other than being some of the most popular TV shows ever, they’re just a few of the franchises ‘popping’ into Funko’s newest video game, Funko Fusion.
In collaboration with 10:10 Games and Universal Games and Digital Platforms, Funko is bringing together the hottest characters in pop culture for an action-adventure gaming experience. The company originally announced the game during last year’s Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC).
This morning, Funko blessed fans with a sneak peek into the gameplay and the large variety of characters by releasing an official trailer. In the trailer, fans can see characters, scenes, and gameplay featuring the worlds of Star Wars, Back to the Future, Child’s Play 2, and many more!
From The Umbrella Academy’s Number Five to Shaun from the Walking Dead, Funko Fusion drags dozens of characters out of their Funko Pop! boxes and into fans’ control as they navigate the Pop! world and interact with other players.
Along with solo-player gameplay, Funko Fusion will allow fans of all ages to join forces in action-packed, multiplayer experiences. Up to four players can battle it out with baddies and solve puzzles while roaming the immense world of their favorite franchises.
Fans can get their Funko kick when Funko Fusion comes to PC and console systems next year!
