The New Alien RPG Expansions Are Out of This World

It’s been more than a year since Free League Publishing first blasted off with Alien The Roleplaying Game Evolved Edition on Kickstarter. Now, the game is getting four new expansions and accessories to level up your next tabletop night. 

The centerpiece of the drop is Operation Leading Edge, a standalone adventure that serves as the second installment of the Jeremiah Saga trilogy. It is designed for 3-5 players plus the Game Mother, and players take the roles of a team of Colonial Marines sent to secure a mineral deposit on Jeremiah VI. The expansion comes with an adventure book, two double-sided maps, five pre-generated characters, playing cards for personal agendas and NPCs, cardboard tokens for characters and creatures, and GM maps and player handouts. You can also go one step further and get the accompanying miniatures set, which has 20 miniatures of Colonial Marines, enemy troops from the Union of Progressive Peoples (UPP), and, of course, Xenomorphs. 

Free League is also bringing back fan-favorites from Alien The Roleplaying Game with a new title and updates to make it compatible with the Evolved Edition. In Chariot of the Angels, players must respond to a distress call from a ship that disappeared almost 80 years ago. The expansion is designed for 3-5 players and the Game Mother and comes with an adventure book, two double-sided maps, five pre-generated characters, and more. 

Colonial Marines Operations Manual Evolved Edition is a full open-world campaign featuring the history of the USCMC, expanded character creation rules, a whole chapter dedicated to weapons and vehicles, and more. Building Better Worlds Evolved Edition is an open-world campaign as pioneering explorers or colonists. It includes chapters on the history of space colonization, new equipment, two new character archetypes, 36 new worlds to explore, and more. 

Free League is rounding off this drop with the Alien RPG Dice Tray, which is 10.7 inches wide with fiber cloth on the inside and faux leather on the outside.
