Harry Potter: Wizards Unite finally got a release date, and we don’t have to wait very long: it launches this Friday, June 21, in the U.S. and UK.
Portkey Games released a launch trailer for the occasion, and at three minutes long, it’s like a mini Harry Potter movie that makes our wizarding hearts sing. The video shows hints of what to expect in the Pokémon Go-style game, including adorable nifflers and a flying golden snitch, as well as performing spells and fighting off dementors and death eaters.
The game uses AR to morph the wizarding world with real life so that players will be able to see traces of Harry Potter magic in their surroundings through the app in real-time.
