Good news Iron Fist fans: you’re only a short ways away from the new season.

In an announcement made yesterday at Comic-Con International: San Diego, it was revealed that Marvel’s Iron Fist Season 2 will premiere on September 7. Fans were also treated with a teaser, which showed Danny Rand (Finn Jones) fighting on the streets of New York City.

The show will  focus on Danny battling a a larger conflict than he did in the first season, and also follow some of Netflix’s other Marvel shows including DaredevilJessica Jones, and Luke Cage.

While Iron First was one of Marvel’s most watched shows, it didn’t always receive high praise. Many critics pointed out poor editing, boring action scenes, and a tone deaf approach to race among other things.

Here’s to hoping season two improves in more ways than one.
