Jon Favreau’s The Lion King remake is only 100 days away, and Disney released a new trailer in anticipation of the double-digit countdown. You know the story already: King Mufasa has a son, Simba, celebrated by the entire kingdom, except Mufasa’s brother, Scar. Simba eventually runs away from the pride and grows up in the jungle with new friends before returning home to take back what is rightfully his.
In the new trailer, we get a look at Simba (Donald Glover), Nala (Beyoncé), Mufasa (James Earl Jones), Scar (Chiwetel Ejiofor), Seth Rogen (Pumbaa), and Timon (Billy Eichner).
The movie is out in theaters on July 19. Check out the trailer below!
