Okay, while we thought the Thanos x Fortnite crossover was pretty legendary, this new one might just top it.
The American Horror Story crossover we’ve all been waiting for will happen in September, Ryan Murphy revealed via Twitter on Thursday. This crossover will merge AHS’ first season, Murder House, with the show’s third season, Coven.
The Coven/Murder House AHS crossover season won’t be happening next year…because it’s happening THIS YEAR. AHS #8 WITCHES RULE THIS SEPTEMBER

The news came as a big surprise as fans weren’t sure, as always, what this new season would bring.
Murphy previously said that Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Kathy Bates would lead the eighth season of the series—which now, revisiting it with this new tidbit of news, gives us better perspective, but still we have questions. While Paulson and Peters appeared in both seasons, Bates only appeared in season 3—so how will she fit in this new installment? Also, will season 1 star Jessica Lange return? She’s been kinda MIA on AHS in recent seasons.
Looks like we’ll just have to be surprised because Murphy loves keeping secrets.
