This year’s New York Comic Con (NYCC) is going to look a bit different, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t still catch the annual The Walking Dead panel. But this year, instead of waiting in line for the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, you can watch the panel from the comfort of your couch, anywhere in the country!
Over the past two weeks, ReedPop (the team behind NYCC) has released details for dozens of panels, which are set to air starting on Oct. 8 as part of the online Metaverse experience that is set to replace NYCC and MCM (ReedPop’s London fan convention). Each panel will air on the NYCC YouTube channel for free — no registration or tickets required!
There are already more than 50 panels in the lineup, featuring talent and creators from popular TV series, comic book publishers, and movies.
Some of the highlights include the aforementioned The Walking Dead panel, a Smallville cast reunion, an American Gods panel, a panel with the creators of Steven Universe, Star Trek cast panels, a Dr. Who gaming preview, a panel with Dr. Who herself (Jodie Whittaker), and a first look at Hulu’s animated M.O.D.O.K. series.
